While we do have a Product Menu showcasing all the options that we can create for you, this, along with the extensive photo gallery available, is simply a Guide to help you create what it is that you would like.
We are very fortunate to have the support of fellow Professional Balloon Artists with whom we all share our creations giving our customers a wonderful gallery of photos showing the vast colour options as well as varying designs and themes available. I would like to thank them all for this amazing collaboration.
Choosing A Design And Placing An Order
Our Balloon Menu will be your starting point, allowing you to see what is available to you and a price guide for the various designs. Prices will show a base price excluding speciality balloons such as chromes, mini foils, hand made flower designs, twists and glitter Filled balloons as well as the additional hire of certain parts needed in the display such a frames, lights, soft toys, artificial flowers and wreaths etc (Some of which are also available to purchase rather than hire). Hire costs are shown separately where applicable. Additional extras will be discussed with you and a final quote provided. In many cases customers find it easiest to give us a budget and their choice of colours, additions and sample designs that they like and we will create the best display we can possible provide within their budget.
Turn Around Time
We will require as much notice as you can possibly give us, allowing us to purchase the balloons etc in the colours of your choice, as soon as possible, as this can be rather difficult and time consuming, especially if we have to look for stock from various suppliers due to stock shortages etc. A minimum of 7 days is required for the smallest of displays such as number stacks, table rings etc. Simple helium filled numbers, single foil balloons or simple balloon bouquets of two to 6 balloons hanging together can be made up on the day on quiet days and subject to stock availability. Our larger displays will need 7+ days notice subject to our availability, supplies in stock and availability of hire equipment such as A frames, Rings, LED Numbers etc.
Deposits And Final Payments
A 30% booking fee is payable to secure your booking. This ensures that both parties are committed to the agreement. It covers the out of pocket expenses and administration of your booking and is non-refundable. The Balance, as well as any damage deposits required for hired equipment such as LED Numbers, will be due for payment four weeks before your agreed date of the event. Prices include VAT where applicable. Late payment puts your booking at risk of cancellation. Any orders placed within four weeks of an event will be paid for in full and will be non refundable, other than damage deposits, but can be transferred if an alternate date is available.
If for any reason your event has to be cancelled, this must be done as far in advance as possible. All reasonable efforts will be made by us to reschedule your booking if appropriate. If it can be rescheduled (subject to availability) then the booking fee can be transferred. If rescheduling is not possible then the booking fee will not be refunded. Once the balance has been paid, no refunds are payable to the customer. In the unlikely event that Calli’s Corner Ltd are forced to cancel, if an alternative cannot be agreed, you will be refunded in full, including the booking fee.
Collection Of Displays
All our displays are collection from our studio and a collection date and time will be prearranged and must be strictly adhered to. Our displays are designed so that they can be erected at the venue yourself, saving you set up and delivery costs. Instructions, and videos where necessary, will be provided. We do offer local delivery in special circumstances, so if you are not able to collect then do chat to us about delivery options and charges.
If you are collecting a display, please ensure you have a suitable vehicle e.g. 5-7 seater car with back seats folded down and an empty boot with no sharp items exposed. Balloons are your responsibility once taken. If they do not fit in your vehicle, this is your responsibility and you may need to make more than one trip or bring more than one car to collect. Your requirements for collection will be discussed with you at the time of placing your order. If delivery is required this must be prearranged as it will not be available last minute, on the day.
Balloon Quality And Care
Balloons are beautiful but fragile and temporary decorations. They may become damaged if exposed to high or low temperatures, direct sunlight or sharp objects. Our balloons comply with safety standards and we buy from professional wholesalers to ensure quality. It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure that any information or specification provided is accurate. We photograph all balloons before they leave us. In the unlikely event that there is a fault with your balloon display, this must be reported before the event and we will endeavour to rectify. Balloon displays will be suitable for the purpose of your event but no guarantee can be offered about longevity of displays beyond the event. Unless caused by our negligence, we will not be responsible for any damage to property as a result of using our products.
Hire Of Equipment
As standard, the hire agreement is for 24 hours or the course of the event, whichever is shorter. It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure there is access to the venue well before the event should we be delivering the display, leaving you enough time to still put the display together. Access failure may result in charges if we are delayed when delivering. Return of any hired items after the event, including frames where the balloons will need to be removed if you wish to keep then, must be adhered to by the agreed time the following day. Charges will apply if late delivery and further charges will apply if late delivery affects the next customers booking. These charges could be excessive so please ensure plans are in place for the return of hired equipment. We do not do collections of displays after the event. Large displays must be dismantled and hired equipment returned by yourselves.
Props and equipment are expensive and they are our livelihood. All items remain our property throughout your hire. We will supply your hire items in good condition and fully working. Everything is tested before hire and electrical items are PAT tested in line with regulations. We photograph props as a record of condition before hire. In the unlikely event of a fault developing during your hire, e.g. a bulb blowing, please contact us ASAP for support. It is your responsibility to take care of props while they are hired to you. If you take care of them and return them in the same condition as when collected or they were delivered in, your damage deposit will be returned in full on return of the hired items.
If in the unlikely event that item(s) get damaged, then the cost of repairing the item(s) will be taken from your damage deposit. If the hired item needs to be replaced, you will be liable for this cost which may exceed the deposit. (Customer’s Debit Card details will be kept in a confidential file, and any additional replacement charges not covered by the damages deposit, will be charged to the card with prior permissions granted by the customer at the time of placing the order). If it does not exceed or equal the damage deposit, the rest will be returned to you. Please treat hire items with the same TLC you would if they were your own. They are booked for hire by other customers after you.
