Saturday evenings are reserved for the grown-ups, making them the perfect opportunity for a creative night out with friends, family or your partner.
For the same £5 ticket price, you’ll receive everything included on our event poster, plus access to our fantastic range of pottery stickers to decorate your chosen piece. These are always a favourite with anyone who doesn’t consider themselves particularly artistic, making it easy to create something you’ll love!
Your £5 ticket (booked in advance) includes everything shown on our event posters. On the night, you’ll simply choose and pay for the pottery piece you’d like to paint.
Once you’ve finished painting, you’re welcome to enjoy our selection of board games (included in your ticket).
It’s the perfect way to spend a relaxed evening with family, friends and even your four-legged companions!

On the first Saturday of each month, enjoy live music while you paint, creating the perfect chilled-out atmosphere.

Players: 3–8
Time: ~15 min
Goal: Corner the market in one commodity (e.g., wheat, barley).
How to Play:
- Each player gets 9 cards of mixed commodities.
- Everyone shouts and trades cards simultaneously (“2! 2!” “3! 3!” etc.) trying to collect 9 of the same commodity.
- When someone gets 9 of one kind, they slam the bell (or shout “Corner on Wheat!”).
- That player scores the value of that commodity; rounds continue until a target score is reached.
🟡 Fast, noisy, great group energy game.
🔠 Bananagrams
Players: 2–8
Time: ~10–15 min
Goal: Build your own crossword grid fastest.
How to Play:
- Each player starts with a set number of letter tiles (e.g., 21).
- Everyone builds words crossword-style, simultaneously.
- When you’ve used all your tiles, shout “PEEL!” — everyone must take one new tile.
- Keep playing until tiles run out; first person to finish their grid wins (if all words are valid).
🍌 Like Scrabble without the board — fast-paced and addictive.
❓Without A Doubt
(Party quiz game, often about truth, dares, and guessing opinions — depending on edition.)

Time: ~20–30 min
Goal: Answer quirky questions and predict what others think.
How to Play:
- Players take turns reading out cards with questions like “Who’s most likely to survive a zombie apocalypse?”
- Everyone votes or guesses which player best fits.
- Points (or drinks, if adult version) are awarded for majority or correct guesses.

🧪 Pick Your Poison – After Dark Edition
Players: 3–16
Time: ~20–40 min
Goal: Choose the “least awful” of two hypothetical scenarios.
How to Play:
- One player is the “Judge.”
- Everyone draws two cards describing outrageous situations (“Always smell like fish” vs. “Never be able to use a toilet again”).
- The Judge picks one combination to read out.
- The others secretly vote on which option they’d rather do.
- If you match the majority, you earn a point; if you’re in the minority, no point.
😈 Adult humour, very social and funny — ideal late-night game.
🪵 Spillikins / Pick Up Sticks
Players: 2–6
Time: ~10 min
Goal: Collect the most sticks without moving others.
How to Play:
- Drop all the sticks into a messy pile on the table.
- Players take turns trying to lift one stick without disturbing the rest.
- If any others move, your turn ends.
- Each stick may have different point values (depending on colour).
- When all are gone, add up points — highest wins.

How to Play:

Goal: Describe and guess as many words as possible in 30 seconds.
How to Play:
- Each card has 5 names/phrases (people, places, objects).
- One team member describes each word without saying the word itself or using rhymes.
- Teammates try to guess as many as possible in 30 seconds.
- Move your team’s piece on the board according to how many you got right.

Time: 15–30 minsGoal: Guess the hidden phrase from gibberish text.How to Play:- One player reads a nonsense phrase (e.g., “eye mull of mush sheen”).

♟️ Chess
Players: 2
Time: 30–60 minsGoal: Checkmate your opponent’s king.
How to Play:
- Each player moves pieces with specific movement rules (pawns, rooks, knights, bishops, queen, king).
- Capture opponent’s pieces and aim to trap (checkmate) the king so it cannot move safely.

⚫ Draughts (Checkers)

How to Play:
