Join us on the first Tuesday of every month for a fun-filled evening of pottery painting or clay creativity while enjoying a nibble and a pint or glass of wine!
Whether you’re bringing the kids for a crafty night out or looking for something fun and different to do as an adult, there’s something for everyone.
Pottery Painting £10+
Create A Ceramic Masterpiece
Pottery painting is suitable for ages 6+, so choose your favourite piece from our fantastic selection and let your imagination run wild! We recommend booking a £10 pottery painting ticket in advance to secure your place. Your £10 is then put towards your pottery piece on the night, and if you choose something costing more than £10, you simply pay in the difference on the night. Pieces start from just £10, including all glazing, firing, packaging and delivery back to The Light for collection.
Clay and Paint Workshops £25pp
Fancy getting your hands dirty?
Our clay workshops are suitable for ages 10+ and cost £25 per person, with everyone taking part needing to book a place in advance. Our clay workshops require preparation beforehand, so advance booking is essential. All places require participation in the clay workshops.
There will be set themed workshops every month so check out our workshops and book your favourites.
Pottery painting walk-ins are also welcome on the night, subject to availability. Clay Workshops require advanced booking by no later than 10am on the day.
Food and Drink
Food and drink is not included in any of the above prices. This is simply ordered from the bar, on the night. Food and drink may be consumed during our pottery painting but please take care not to transfer any oils from the food onto your pieces, as this will repel the glaze.
For the clay workshops, please order food to be brought through to the room at 7.30pm only, when we take a food and drink break, as you will not be able to eat while working with the clay. Nibbling on snacks and drinks will be permitted throughout the workshop.
If wishing to order food and drink, please ensure that you place the order before attending for the workshop as we will start promptly at 6.30pm.

Pumpkin Lantern Clay And Paint Workshop
6th October 2026 at 6.30-9pm
In this workshop, you will get to create your creepiest pumpkin lantern or perhaps a very cute jelly cat inspired pumpkin if you prefer.
All clay, paints and tools will be provided. You will create your pumpkins in the first hour of the session, then break for a food and drink break, then bring them to life in the last hour, with a splash of autumn colour.

Christmas Angel Clay And Paint Workshop
3rd November 2026 at 6.30-9pm
A firm Favourite, create this beautiful Angel lantern to brighten any room at Christmas. A gorgeous addition to the table centrepiece too.
All clay, paints and tools will be provided. You will create your Angel lantern in the first hour of the session, then break for a food and drink break, then bring her to life in the last hour, with your favourite Christmas colours.

Christmas Tree Lantern Clay And Paint Workshop
1st December 2026 at 6.30-9pm.
A Christmas Tree with baubles of light! With various designs possible, you will create an awesome Festive Tree to brighten your Christmas decor.
All clay, paints and tools will be provided. You will create your Tree lantern in the first hour of the session, then break for a food and drink break, then decorate it in bright festive colours.

Jelly Cat Inspired Clay and Paint Workshop
5th January 2027 6.30-9pm
Great, your favourite jelly cat inspired characters. All clay, paints and tools will be provided. You will create your little characters in the first hour of the session, then break for a food and drink break, then bring them to life in the last hour, with a splash of colour.
