Clay Make & Paint Sessions

So Much Fun For £25 Per Person

Suitable for ages 6+

Now available as an alternative to just a normal painting session, why not book a Clay Make and Paint session. You get to create something completely unique out of clay in the first half of the session and then paint it in its clay form and leave it for us to fire to bisque. We will then clear glaze and fire it once again to its finished form. Available to collect 10-14 days later, leaving enough time for the clay to dry out before its first firing.

Please Note: Children will require some assistance from a parent in a clay make and paint session.

The cost of £25 per maker is paid when booking the session. We will invoice you via our Paypal account on confirmation of availability for your chosen session and your booking will be confirmed on receipt of your payment. Alternatively, you can pop into the studio to pay, if you prefer.

Notice of Cancellations must be received at least 48 hours before for a full refund to be issued. Within this 48 hour period, you will not receive a refund but may change to another date within a two week period, if notice is received at least 12 hrs before. Within 12 hours there can be no refund or reschedule as the clay will be cut and all preparation done.

Clay Make and Paint sessions include a block of clay suitable for making one of the following choices (See examples below)

1. One Large Flat Hanger (eg Large Heart or Christmas Wreath, Shapes and Stamps of your choice), or

2. Two Small Flat Hangers, separate or hanging together (eg two Christmas decorations or a two piece message) or

3. A Bud Vase, Castle Vase or similar (Use of textured rollers, stamps and cutters for decoration) or

4. Large Animal, Form or Character (eg Bird, Frog, Owl, Gnome, Pumpkin, Apple etc) or

5. Fairy Door or Fairy House (Use of cutters and stamps for decoration) or

6. Coil Pinch Pot (eg Pig Pot, Coil Pot, (Use of cutters and stamps for decoration) or

7. Coaster x2 (Use of cutters and stamps for decoration) or

Price also includes the use of the paints and having us glaze them for you and the cost of the two firings.

When booking a Clay Make and Paint session, if there is a  member of your group who wishes to paint a bisque piece at the same time but not take part in the clay make session, you can book a combination of the two sessions on the ‘Book a Clay Make And Paint’ booking form, rather than booking a PYO ceramic session separately. You will then all be sat at the same table. Please make it clear how many are booking for the Clay Make and Paint and how many booking for normal painting session. Payment for the Clay Make and Paint only, will be required when booking, you can pay for any one just booking a paining session, on the day, once pieces have been chosen to paint.

 

You will be required to confirm at the time of booking, your choice from the 7 choices above, that you wish to make in the Clay Make and Paint session so that the clay etc can be prepared prior to your arrival, based on your choice.
